The passions, according to Stoicism, are negative emotions that disrupt judgement. With this album, I am asking forgiveness of myself for allowing my passion to control me. I was being told, in some form, that things were wrong and I did not listen; I simply wanted to continue on as-is, to remain in an unhealthy scenario.

'Half Held' was originally chosen before certain events came to light and it is an appropriate description. It represents a lack of love given or received, even solely involving one's self. That is the journey I am on now: to relearn and relove myself once more.
